I am writing this day because this is the day we are to celebrate our love for those close to our hearts. All around our country today people were given chocolates, roses, jewelery, and other gifts of love. Now before I go on I want to say that I don't have a problem with Valentines Day, even if it has been over commercialized. This is the one day in the year where hearts are placed everywhere. Google's home page has(d) an image of two figure skaters who have carved a heart into the ice. People can select hearts or roses for their my yahoo theme. You can't even get a cup of coffee without a reference to chocolate and love being flashed before your eyes.
I want to go a little deeper into where Love comes from or more importantly who love is? We all probably have heard the legend of St. Valentine, but is he the source of love. I have been asking myself this week many questions about love. You see, as a husband I am called to love my wife unconditionally. Love is not based on emotions, feelings, or gifts. Love is a choice that requires constant refreshing. In order to get a real understanding of this I decided that I would ask God to show me what love is. By asking God this I was really asking him to show my heart what lies in His heart. Oh the week I had in fellowship with the Lord.
This evening He brought me into His word, in the First book of John chapter four verses 7 through 21. This is what our Heavenly Father wants me to tell you.
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us . God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is, so are weProxy-Connection: keep-alive

n this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also."
I don't think it can be said better then that. The source of all Love is God, even on the 14th of February.

I want my padded room!
If our government is going insane and driving the ones they represent with them, then at least they could provide me with a new white jacket and a padded room.
Seriously though, it feels like either those who serve us at capital hill have lost it, or we are just not in touch with the world today. Then again, maybe that is all part of the King of Kings plan. He has called us to be not of the world, and yet we find ourselves trying to hold onto our worldly possessions. I am not talking about our cars, boats, ATVs and vacation timeshares. I am talking about our rights, our freedoms, our country.
I read from alternate news media about people opposing the government takeover of health care and the continued expansion of the North American Union agenda, which is part of the plan for a New World Order. I read they want our guns, they want our children, they want to torture (tase) the innocent, and it drives me mad. My heart wants to put these tyrants in their place, but spirit does not agree.
My spirit tells me this is not my fight. The Holy Spirit convicts me of wanting to repay these acts against the Constitution with do justice. Where is the gospel in this great out cry for freedom. The Bible clearly paints an unpleasant picture of the world as the hour glass runs out of sand, so instead of taking up arms against the tyrants, shouldn't we be on our knees for the lost. Why don't I hear the bride of Christ acknowledging that the grooms return is near and pleading with the lost to join in the wedding?
Where is my voice? Where is the focus of my passion? Is it on my rights and freedoms, or is it on the freedom I find in Christ? If I use the Bible as a filter to see the world then I know what my passion should be. I know what the bride of Christ should be doing, and it might require knee pads. If the body of Christ gets caught up in all this turmoil over what is to come, then who will spread the gospel? Who will be the example of Christ to the living dead? Who will intercede for the souls of those deceived?
I pray that I have the strength to speak the truth through Christ. I understand that the elected of this country may not listen to their constituents and may put into place a national health care system no matter what the people want. That if they are willing to put the want of one man over the wishes of an entire country, then what else are they willing and ready to do? If I speak out against homosexuality and abortion I am in danger of going to prison. For speaking God's truth the body of Christ will be persecuted.
John 17:14-16
I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. (15) I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. (16) They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Christ told us that the world would hate us for speaking God's truth but that should not stop us. Yes, speak out against the injustice but do so in a manner that God is glorified. How dare we hold onto certain unalienable rights that are endowed by the Creator without giving Him glory in the first place. If God has blessed this county with liberty, have we been thankful for this blessing or have we abused it. Has this country used "liberty" as an excuse to slaughter those who can't protect themselves? Has this country used "liberty" as an excuse to create an industry of lust?
Has this country used "liberty" to remove the Creator from the creation? And now we ask why our liberties are being taken away. Where was the voice of the bride of Christ when the lost started taking this country down the slippery slope of sin? I know where I was, and it wasn't speaking to my neighbor, my representatives, or my Lord.
Maybe I deserve a padded room for thinking that my worldly liberties were protected by a document when my eternal liberties had to be purchased with the blood of the Son of God.
Bible verses (KJV) that I came across while posting this:
Ecclesiastes 5:8
If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.
Isaiah 59
Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper. Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace. Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness. We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men. We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us. For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them; In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke. According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Welcome to Whoville
I know I said my next post is about H.R. 45 but after an extensive reading of the bill I am afraid that my mind has become numb. So instead I will ramble about a small country from a loved childrens book.
Yes, welcome to Whoville. Where we all go about our daily lives living in peace and harmony. We can not understand that our existence is a mere boiling pot away. You ask are you really going to blog about "Horton Hears A Who" and I answer "YES". In the story about Horton and his beloved dust speck, the people of Whoville face imminent danger. They are warned but since they can not see nor hear Horton, they do not believe. Those who seek to destroy the dust speck do not believe that there are people worth saving on it. Yet in the midst of all this unbelief Horton continues to champion for those whose voice is unheard. Even though Horton makes a very good point that the size of a person has no impact on their worth or importance, his voice in unsuccessful in convinceing the others who can not hear the Whos. It ultimately is up to the Whos to make their voices heard. So I once again welcome you to Whoville America.
Yes, The Late Great USA has become Whoville. We sit in our homes allowing those who control our government to chart our course through these dangerous waters. When they make a bad decision we tell ourselves that we'll let them know how we felt come next election. When a judge decides to use his bench as a legislative tool we complain to those who already don't care. When the ones who swear an oath to protect the people of their community use brute or deadly force as a complaince tool, we say that wouldn't happen to me. In all of this inaction, we have allowed ourselves to be brought to the cauldron where those who seek to destroy awate. This is not the time to be Silient Submissive Patriots, or apathetic Whos with our minds closed to the possibility that those who roam the Capital are as dangerous as the Wickersham Brothers. We, the Constitution Lovin/Gun Clingin/Christian brothers and sisters, need to gather with on voice and shout "We Are Here! We Are Here!" We have no one to blame but ourselves for not having our voices heard. Senator Barry Soetoro may proclaim "I won", but we are still "The People"!

H.R. 645
In my first true post I am going to tackle the bill H.R. 645. It is a bill proposed by Rep. Alcee Hastings (Democrat, FL) to direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish national emergency centers on military installations. On the surface this sounds like a good idea, but what concerns me is the 4th purpose stated by the bill for establishing these emergency centers. Section 2. b. 4. states that the purpose of a national emergency center shall be to use existing infrastructure to meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security.
Who deems what is an appropriate need? Is this the catch all for those infamous detention centers all us freedom loving, Constitution keeping, true patriots are worrying about. Will it be a national emergency that stifles the free speech of those who seek to honor the King of Kings and voice their displeasure with the moral surrender that continues to grow in our nation. I personally fear so. You may ask, why the government would try to do this so openly? All you have to do is look at the controversy that follows Senator Barry Soetoro about his eligibility to be President. He sits in office because he does not care what the backbone of this country wants to see. He sits there cause he can and he knows that it would take a revolution to remove him. No court will dare to hear a case against his nationality. They just keep passing the buck until it gets to the Supreme's who have either bought in with their souls or are under some threat to not derail the Obama-train. That is why I fear the worst for our nation with these emergency centers, as long as the system is broken, domestic enemies to our Constitution will flaunt their actions out in the open without fear of reprisal.
Now I may fear for our country because true "hope" can't come from the enemy, but i rejoice in the hope that the time for the True King is soon approaching. I hope that all my readers find that we are all sinners and are deserving of a painful death with an eternity separated from the true love of God. But there is an escape plan, a pardon before sentencing, and he is Jesus. Please accept his loving gift of redemption and move into the family of God. Congrats to all who have and do. I look forward to an eternity of meeting you all and hearing how God touched your lives. To all my Christian Patriot Brothers out there maybe we can through a huge party when we all are herded into one of these camps. Until then, thank you for your time spent reading my ramblings and may the Lord of all be speaking to your heart.
Next Post is about H.R. 45 and its connection to the end.

Hello blog world!
Hello, Hello! I have decided to finally post what goes on inside my head on the internet. Hopefully some of you will find what I "say" interesting, or at least thought provoking. Feel free to disagree or comment, all I ask is that we all act appropriately. I hope to have my first real post up later today. Thanks to all who visit The Strong Tower.
